Carter Iron & Steel Company was founded in 1981 by W. Bond Carter and incorporated in 1982. Our primary focus of business was to do facility-related projects inside Newport News Shipbuilding, Langley Air Force Base, and NASA. We continue to do projects within these facilities, as well as meeting commercial industry needs in fabrication and erection. With 25 years of experience, our company has built a strong reputation for high-quality workmanship and reliability.
